Just a month to go now to the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships in Glasgow and across Scotland. The tournament is one of the big events included in the #FestivalsConnect research to find if and how big and small events can improve community connection, part of Spirit's #MomentsToConnect programme

Today Centre for Culture, Sport and Events at UWS is welcoming Dr Alberto Amore from the University of Oulu - great talk exploring concepts of regeneration and regenerative tourism in urban and rural areas #Tourism
UWS researchers been involved in a major summit looking at #humanrights abuses in sport.
The event - which took place in Canada - looked at issues such as human trafficking, labour violations and environmental damage.
