Meet Dr Anita Raja, a family physician based in Birmingham and an INARA hero, shedding light on the difficulties children encounter in conflict zones and their impact on their futures.
Dr Anita Raja Children living in conflict zones often lose their safe spaces, homes, loved ones, and the stability of their communities. These traumatic experiences have profound, long-term effects on their mental health and growth.
Dr Anita Raja Dr. Anita emphasizes that children living in conflict zones are prone to anxiety and depression as they grow older, and they may also struggle with a sense of emotional numbness and physical pain.
Dr Anita Raja INARA's Rapid Response for Gaza aims at filling in the gap in access to medical and mental health care. We are currently intervening in Gaza by organizing recreational activities and distributing basic needs (sanitary kits, baby formula) for children and their families;
Dr Anita Raja Our interventions will be on a larger scale once access becomes available, allowing us to deploy a larger team. With your support and donations towards our $2M campaign, you will be helping the children of Gaza heal to lead a better and healthier life.
