The JGME top research presentations @ICRE2023 discussed humility. A question highlighted that Med schools reflect the values of where they are/are constructed. Humility may not always be highly valued. As a learner, she was advised to have a 'humblectomy'

@ICRE2023 panel on advocacy warns against mainstreaming advocacy into a 'yup, you've done advocacy' tickybox process. It will be complex, dynamic and different for each trainee doing advocacy. It's a lot like demonstrating professionalism and other Canmeds competencies too.
