B. pertussis cases fall for 2nd week in a row in England and Wales. Grossly under-diagnosed still, in my humble opinion. I am emailed countless tales of denial by doctors. eg 'You have been immunised so you can't possibly have it.' Almost all victims are immunised! #pertussis

Dr Mark Porter Dr Jonathan Leach Shaun Lintern There have always been a small number of patients who choose to come to the ED for primary care. This number has gone up, but is still relatively small. They are ambulatory - so definitely not the patients who are enduring long trolley waits for admission to hospital.
