Santa Clara County is struggling to keep up with the number of people falling into homelessness.

First-time homelessness increased 24% this year, even as the county increased the number of people it housed by 29%.

A bill by Matt Haney would require California landlords to accept to pets. No pet deposits, no pet fees.
