📢 Exciting news! 🎉 Just published a paper in Health Affairs with Zach Brown, Sarah Miller, Edward Norton, & Andrew Ryan. 🏥 Our study, funded by Arnold Ventures, examines the impact of the Oregon state employee plan’s hospital payment cap on hospital prices.

A disappointing outcome, for sure.

In particular, it looks like even the tiny site-neutral payment fix from the House package is getting left out.

Similarly, it doesn't look like we're going to get better Medicare Advantage data or information on PE & payer ownership.
