It was a pleasure to join colleagues from Midlothian and ScotGov Childcare to meet with Ken Muir and visitors from Norway to discuss ELC in Scotland and to hear about Kindergarten in Norway. Thank you to Fulton MacGregor MSP and Kaukab Stewart MSP for your warm welcome. Education Scotland ES Team ELC
It’s great to see that each one is different- using the child’s own ideas. Support from the adult is helping realise the plan. #Froebelsewing
Another busy week in the Sewing corner🧵🪡 Look at some of the wonderful sewing that has been happening 👏🏻 #slowpedagogy
Taking a slow and unhurried approach, A created a beautiful flower in the sewing area.🌷She designed, cut out and independently sewed and decorated it. “I’m going to make a pink flower for my room. I want beads on it and ribbon to hang it up.” #slowpedagogy Froebel: Falkirk Network
Really interesting evening spent at Saughton Park - feeling very inspired to continue to support our children to engage with nature 🐝🌿🐦⬛ Early Education Edinburgh & Lothian 2023
