What’s your favourite green space in #lewisham ?

We have a couple of favourites: Ladywell Fields, Hilly Fields, Friends of Luxmore, Crofton Park Railway Garden, FoBlythe Hill Fields, @RingwayGardens 🌳

That was more than a couple but we’re spoilt for choice! 💙

Litter picking at Slough basin canal this morning. So much rubbish!

At least our little bit has helped the entrance to the canal look at bit fresher!

Calling #Tree Twitter - we’ve got some spare whips that urgently need a new home. Mostly #Hazel & #Rowan (approx 30/40) - based in Sydenham, S.E. London - please spread the word so we can get these in the ground asap and find them a new home 🌳 🌲 🌱

14 GoodGymers made their way to a Tiny Forest 🌳 in Lewisham to protect some newly planted saplings. Woodchip was the weapon of choice against unwanted weeds and plants.

We enjoyed volunteering at Catford parkrun and Hilly Fields parkrun this morning, some of those wonderful volunteers are now off to do more good in the borough like planting snowdrops at St Mary's Church 🌱

Last minute change of task last night meant we picked a spot in the borough that could do with a bit of TLC - the pocket gardens outside Lewisham Hospital are now free of litter 🚯

Highlights include a Christmas Tree, fork and a lot of cigarette ends!!
