Thank you for sharing! It sounds like the Fur Ball was fantastic. It's the first time I missed it in 20 years.

There was a Coronal Mass Ejection on the surface of the sun, which is an explosive blast which carries billions of tons of material out from the sun at extremely high speeds. The Aurora Borealis, or northern lights, may be visible as far south as Kansas City and Denver tonight!

It will dry out for the kids at School Day at the K. This thunderstorm will have to move through first, then it will dry out! Wow Lindsey, thank you for sharing.

This is one very heavy thunderstorm this morning. It is right over downtown KC right now. It will produce very heavy rain and some small hail. What is it doing where you live?

While there are 7 active Tornado Warnings at this moment, and nothing immediately threatening KC, here’s the silver lining sunset on the backside of this storm in Golden, CO. Heavy rain leading to flooding is the main risk for KC.

A rare HIGH RISK, a level 5 out of 5 risk, has been issued by the Storm Prediction Center. Long track strong tornadoes are possible near this region. Kansas City is in the level 3 out of 5 risk. Let's monitor this dangerous day closely.

Kansas & Oklahoma are the target of a dangerous severe weather setup on Monday. This has been in the forecast for 80-days to arrive this week. Conditions are coming together for a potential outbreak that will threaten the KC metro area by late afternoon or evening.

Here is the Weather2020 prediction from 80 days ago verifying with this week's risks. We have been 91% accurate in these long range severe weather outlooks the past two years. This risk does include Kansas City for tomorrow night. The SPC already is increasing the risks.

I remember this day well. I was in Moore two days later and saw nothing but concrete slabs. There were streets that didn't even have debris as the over 300 mph winds took everything away. Four weeks later, I saw my first tornado. Thank you for sharing Reed. You haven't changed…
