A quick update on the North Circular Road scheme.
The process has taken too long already😡but there are a few good points of progress:
-it has gone from interim to permanent scheme so no plastic bollards!🥳
-the crossings at Belvedere and Fitzgibbon will get signalised lights🚦

This is great news for the area! @pidge has been working hard on this for some time now, and I have been supporting that work in the Dáil where I can.

As he says there is still a lot of work to do, but this is really positive news for Dublin 8.

The scale of the suffering and humanitarian catastrophe inflicted by Israel is vast and horrific.

The RSA saying they can't share data due to GDPR is nonsense. The 'alternative opinion' cited below is by Graham Doyle of Data Protection Commission Ireland said “GDPR should not prevent the proportionate publication of crash location details, particularly where data is largely anonymised/limited”.

Big news in the fight for a sports pitch for the Liberties.

Dublin City Council have confirmed that they are working on plans for a FIFA-size pitch and park space on the Marrowbone Lane site - a space they had earmarked for a big depot.

More to do, but big progress!

Academics, transport groups, TDs (including Patrick Costello TD & myself) been pushing for the release of this data.

It's just one example of @rsaIreland failing to lead on an issues that would actually lead to safer roads.

Following reports of a sink hole in Sandymount Green earlier, we mobilised an on-call crew. After inspection, we have now completed a temporary repair. Further inspections will be carried out tomorrow to determine the cause and a permanent repair of the roadway arranged.
