Just to be clear: you're likening support for Ukraine - expressed by a player from a country bordering Russia; that has admitted 3 million Ukrainian refugees this year - to....an oversized dress logo?

What’s the funniest reviewer feedback you’ve received? I was told , “This is laudable, but acknowledging limitations does not make them disappear.” Commemorated in plaque form by my thoughtful colleague ⁦cdandoy⁩ so I’ll never forget this valuable lesson.

There is so much wrong with this panel. From inception to review to sponsorship, no one thought to consider the perspectives of women or BIPOC physicians or scientists, or to call this out?

This is why many in academic medicine are frustrated, and why many brilliant folks leave.

As someone who has designed conferences almost exclusively with women colleagues, you won’t have to look far beyond your blinders for experts who will expand your minds and reach.

Until then, you are talking in echo chambers.

What a missed opportunity.

Heather Kaplan presents the rationale for n-of-1 trials. We tend to discard the idea of controlled experiment because of these, but she argues compellingly that uncontrolled trials of therapy, which we all do, bias us towards unnecessary treatment. N-of-1 personalize Rx without bias

Nick Trott CGH Completely agree. Very frustrated at not having more nutrition research by which to guide therapy. Eagerly anticipating release of PRODUCE n-of-1 Study evaluating Specific CHO Diet next week by Heather Kaplan at the ImproveCareNow™ conference.

So happy to announce that Dr. Dr. Karen Puopolo was honored with the Children's Hospital Division of Neonatology Mentor of the Year Award. As my research, clinical, professional, and basically all-around life mentor, she is most deserving!! @CHOP_NICU CHOP_CPCE
