So proud to host a beautiful array of UK in Fiji guests aboard HMS Tamar. She patrolled π«π― π with embarked Fiji Fisheries, Republic of Fiji Navy and NZ π³πΏ Boarding Team; countering illegal fishing - and agreed to throw a reception! A lovely evening π₯ with highly valued friends and guests.
Reflecting on our time in NZ - the crew were warmly invited to a Powhiri by the Royal NZ Navy, given prime berthing with views of Auckland and provided excellent training by Flag Officer Sea Training prior to returning to operations.

While off the coast of Tahiti, French Polynesia, TAMAR couldn't resist a catch up with the BOUGAINVILLE of #MarineNationale and one of their impressive jets!
It provided an excellent opportunity to train and prove interoperability.

She spent 5 days in the British Overseas Territory helping the 40 inhabitants with community projects. They also safely disposed of explosives left over from the construction of the islandβs small harbour in theβ¦
