To help reduce the risk of wildfires, the #BCWildfire Service is supporting City of Kimberley in conducting a prescribed burn in the Matthew Creek area. This burn is located approximately eight kilometres southwest of the #KimberleyBC and will cover up to 20 hectares.
Jean-Philippe Lessard $1.8B is earmarked to grants across the Triagency over the next 5y. The percentage increases per year will be 3% (y 1), 3% (y 2), 5%, 8%, 8%. This is a big investment, but there is more that has to be done. We'll continue to advocate for grads/postdocs et al to #SupportOurScience
