If you did not realize that Canada’s most prestigious awards were set to poverty wages and that makes you uncomfortable - I am sorry, but imagine how uncomfortable your students must be living on them. Yes there will be growing pains, but this is still a much needed win.

As a scientist I want to make a special recognition to the Support Our Science team for their tireless and effective advocacy for improving financial support for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows across Canada. These investments would not have happened without you. Thank you!
