Several things on the DC4 crash near Fairbanks, AK yesterday.

1. This location was not remote; it's 7 miles from a sizeable town.
2. DC4s fly in AK everyday. They are safe aircraft. These older aircraft often fly fuel to mines and villages. They do not crash often. /1
