Stepping on Stepien If solar is so cheap why do CA citizens require subsidies for rooftop? Voodoo economics. A Californian. Don't count cost of debt, born by taxpayers, opportunity cost of diverted capital, installation and operating costs, and it is in reach of consumers.

Not enough to be any solution, to a non-existent problem. Enough RE to power the US will cause more devastation than the Amazon. Be serious.

Interesting argument. That is one heck of a lot of theft. Many disregard the cost of debt from subsidies as a direct cost of energy. All directly related to RE waste and fraud. Just say no.

Nathan Lewis Kevin Hofner Which is likely why he’s mistaken or bad at math. He’s assuming the electric range is less efficient than a gas range, which is comical given most studies show they are ~3X as efficient. He’s also ignoring that methane leaks are much worse than CO2…

A better solution might be to ban breathing. did you know humans exhale 38b MT/yr of that wondrous gaseous plant food, without deleterious effect? Animals add their own. Since it is only beneficial: trees, crops, flowers, O2, no need to avoid.

How's the reading going? Here you are bragging about unblocking me to show how brave you are and you go and mute. Really helps your credibility. Here is Part 5. The pseudo-math whiz is probably still working on Part 1, but send him 2,3,4,5 when you're done

Net 0 will do Net 0 for climate. The wondrous gas meant to be 0d is only beneficial: trees, crops, flowers, O2... Always consider origin, basis and scale when viewing a graph, and read Darrell Huff’s book on stats.

Would a prize winning scientist approach the Nobel committee and request the rescinding of the prize if a fatal flaw was discovered? Doubtfully.
Fortunately there is a scientist who had courage.

Wow! LinkedIn removed a link in a post. I wonder why?

There is a fascinating discussion going on at LinkedIn about the effect of the sun on climate. No swords drawn, but good fisticuffs. Take a look.

Modelers are humans and they built models to determine if CO2 causes warming. Is it possible that the assumptions can have a bias? Trusting a skewed model might send us on a dangerous path. Think before you jump, and watch the movie Allegro Non Troppo. linkedin.com/feed/update/ur…
