Terrible news for the #OSCE . The extensions of all three heads of institutions OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, OSCE/ODIHR and OSCE media freedom and SG @gremingerosce have been blocked. Not only is this undeserved for four hard-working people incl my former boss lamberto zannier, but also bad for the OSCE itself

#Covid19 has forced states to provide #DistanceLearning . Authorities must continue to offer #education in and of #minority languages as well as State/official languages. Formats should be tailored to minority needs, including solutions for those who can't get online.

In #OSCEPA webinar today, OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities lamberto zannier stressed the importance of protecting those who are more at risk because of the pandemic. Governments should prioritize protecting the economically vulnerable, maintaining zero tolerance for discrimination and xenophobia.
