Fire will run faster up an incline plane. Fire in the cockloft is going to want to move faster from the rear to front. Useful to predict fire spread & where to cut.

When evaluating your performance at a fire better questions to ask are: What did I know before (the event)?
What was revealed after?
Could I have known that before?

If the answer is no, then much of what occurred is luck. If the answer is yes, then you have a learning point.
