“Why did you…” vs. “How could we…” as sentence starters for feedback conversations lead you down very different paths. If you want to put someone on the defensive, choose to begin with option 1. If you want to work WITH someone, choose to begin with option 2.

How many schools truly have a strong literacy system core (not just Tier 1), where all parts are working in coordination? And how many make overly compensatory decisions that affect their stability, function, flexibility, and endurance?
