Examined some peatland margins today with a penetrometer from Richard Lindsay at Plantlife Scotland Munsary. Fair to say they are pretty dense! Helped of course by my favourite field pals Dr Chris Marshall and #bogdog

Perfect start to the week learning how eddy covariance towers work with Dr Peter J. Gilbert and #OGbogdog ! Very fascinating pieces of equipment and a great day out on the bog.
