QUIZ ANSWER: the foamy substance was produced by this grasshopper I spotted this afternoon. I presumed it was laying eggs protected in the foam but having shown it to a few friends we’re not 100% convinced. Odd place to lay eggs? Let me know if anyone confirm? Amazing to watch.

Met some lovely passengers from Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines on #Borealis ship that was docked in Cape Town harbour at weekend. Took them to see the African penguins & did a penguin talk onboard in the evening. Love sharing my passion 4 these adorable & endangered birds & enthusing others🐧
