New suicide figures for the final 3m of 2023 are published by Office for National Statistics (ONS) today, giving us rates for last year as a whole.

It is not good news.

The suicide rate rose 6% from 2022, the first substantial rise since 2018.

The rate was 11.1 per 100,000 people, highest figure since 1999.

Today is our Continuous Improvement Conference, 150 colleagues, partners and industry leaders are gathering to share improvement stories and ideas and empower each other to learn and continually improve quality care and processes for our service users and communities 💙

Been great to get all the teams engaged in this, including our fab restart team! It's been lovely to see patients engagement improve over the last week and read some of their pledges!
