Barbara Hałka née Lityńska passed away yesterday. She was 101 years old. As a young woman, the Gestapo arrested her in Lwow/Lemberg/Lviv, and deported her in July 1944 to Ravensbrück. She was sent to forced labor to Schlieben and Altenburg, two the satellite camps of Buchenwald.
