KUMIP aligns with the recommendations of the Nairobi Commuter Rail Master Plan- 2018 with invaluable support from the World Bank.

Through enhanced governance structures, innovative solutions, and a focus on green mobility, KUMIP is poised to transform urban transportation.

During the second mission, they had fruitful discussions with key stakeholders, including the Governors for Nairobi and Kiambu Counties, along with various government agencies involved in the project.

This morning, I chaired a wrap-up meeting on the proposed Kenya Urban Mobility Improvement Project (KUMIP) at the Ministry's headquarters. It's been an incredibly successful journey so far, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Ms. Akiko Kishiue and the entire World Bank team.

1/2 KeNHA alerts motorists of a traffic snarl up between Kijabe and Soko Mjinga along the Nairobi - Nakuru Highway due to an incident. Motorists are advised to avoid overlapping and consider diverting to the Naivasha - Mai Mahiu road for smoother travel.
