For 2nd time this week, I just voted to back the Lords amendments to the Govt's repugnant #RwandaBill . Lost again. But there's no defending it - it's inhumane, illegal & ineffective all in one. Now back to Lords to keep up fight to lessen the sheer cruelty of this shameful bill.

Yesterday, I was pleased to join @SafePassageUK to express my opposition to the #RwandaBill . It’s time to end the hostile environment & provide safe passage to the UK for all those fleeing war & persecution.

✊ The Lords are still fighting back against the cruel Rwanda plan.

Despite what this Government says, this scheme isn't the 'will of the people'—it's a disgraceful assault on refugee rights and the rule of law.

We applaud those Parliamentarians who stand firm on these values.

Afghans who have been able to get to the UK through the schemes are still not able to bring their family to safety, despite Government promises.

They live in fear everyday for their loved ones💔

Information and a pathway to reunion is needed now.
