In 2019, we committed to delivering 20 Institutes of Technology across this Parliament.

So far, we've delivered 19, with 2 more opening from September, exceeding our pledge.

I was honoured to be invited by Truro&PenwithCollege and Scott Mann MP to open the new STEM centre in Bodmin.

From health and engineering to manufacturing and digital, whatever young people in Bodmin want to do, this centre will help them get the local opportunities they deserve.

My team and I met with Bude Climate Partnership for a very informative and productive meeting.

I made a commitment to them, and the people of #Bude , to ensure their recommendations are raised directly with the Environment Secretary.

Pleased to learn #Bude 's Crescent Flood Defence & River Restoration Project is complete. Ergue-Gaberic Way is now back open, and public car parking spaces can be used via a new meter at Nanny Moores Bridge.

I have written to Asda via their Public Affairs Manager to make it clear to them that the pharmacy must stay open.

As you will see, I have asked them to make a public commitment to ensure it does not close.

Today I made clear to Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian that Iran must not draw the Middle East into a wider conflict.

I am deeply concerned about the potential for miscalculation leading to further violence.

Iran should instead work to de-escalate and prevent further attacks.

Scott Mann MP Former North Cornwall MP Paul Tyler was the Liberal Democrats' chief whip 1997-2001. Other than on procedural business, he did not speak in the House of Commons during this period. It did not stop him being a good constituency MP.

I made 760 spoken and written contributions to the House before I was appointed as a Government Whip in 2021. By long-standing Parliamentary convention, Whips do not speak in the House of Commons.
