The Homeless World Cup has been around for over two decades and this year, Netflix have shone a light on the annual tournament which has helped to represent over 70 countries and 1.2m participants.

There are no incentives and rewards for living on the streets

And criminalising homelessness never has and never will solve the issue.

Simon on the Streets has written a great article for teachers on how to support children facing homelessness. They suggest Creating Stability, Creating a Safe Environment and Building Confidence. All of these are so important to making school a positive place.
