A group of older Swiss women - KlimaSeniorinnen - have won the first ever climate case victory in the European Court of Human Rights. ⚖️

The women said that their age & gender made them vulnerable to the effects of heatwaves linked to climate change.

Yesterday, we joined other CSOs here in Enugu to take part in a training. This training was organized by Neem Foundation in partnership with Yar'Adua Foundation with support from MacArthur Foundation
This training centered on improving orgs mental health and self-care.

Last week, we had a project team meeting for the new project, which we are about to start. This is a project, which seeks to reduce the rate of plastic pollution here in Enugu State, Nigeria.

I am humbled to be accepted into the Generation Democracy network. This is an initiative of International Republican Institute which seeks to promote youth participation in democracy, politics and good governance.
I look forward to benefiting from the diverse opportunities that comes with it.

Last week, Somtochukwu Ugwu represented us in a SRHR programming workshop organized by Alliances for Africa with support from Open Society Foundations
This residential workshop focused on improving CSOs knowledge on designing, fundraising and implementing various programs on SRHR.

Last week, we joined other CSOs to celebrate the #IWD2024
This celebration was centered on the theme #InspireInclusion
