Important to join a March with Southampton council leader Lorna Fielker and Cllr Christie Lambert for the safety of women and girls at #riversidepark #bitternepark #stopviolenceagainstwomen #southampton
Today was my last Full Council at SouthamptonCC. Thanks to all colleagues for their kind words.
I was elected as a Councillor in 2011 to represent my community. Now I want to be our MP & work for a better & more hopeful future for Southampton Itchen with a The Labour Party government.
Thanks to Stephen Morgan MP for joining Cllr Darren Paffey (our parliamentary candidate), Gordon Cooper (our Bitterne Park candidate) and other members and activists this morning in #Bitternepark to talk to residents, launching Labour’s #Newdeal for working people.
Several of our Cllrs. attended the annual #Southampton Labour Group cycle ride. Starting at Civic Centre we went along Millbrook road to Nursling, had a pub lunch and came back. We used mostly along cycle lanes, only going on the roads a few times.

Really nice to be out talking to residents in #bitternepark this morning.
Our councillors and activists certainly found it a hot one, but lots of “let’s get the Tories out..” comments made it worth it!
Don’t forget to sign the petition…
Being a Labour activist is also about enjoying each other's company!
On Sat. PM our members & councillors attended a fundraising party for Cllr Darren Paffey .
Huge thanks to everyone that helped organise/ donate/ attend.

Thousands came together for a brilliant #SouthamptonPride ! Great celebration of our more inclusive society, but also a protest as there’s needless discrimination we still need to fight.
🏳️🌈Southampton - you did everyone proud at Pride, and showed what a great city this is!🏳️⚧️
Some of our Councillors joined Cllr Darren Paffey and other activists at amazing Southampton Pride march today. Huge energy with banners, music and spontaneous dance!
#Southampton is blessed to have an event like this that champions diversity & inclusivity, where everyone feels welcome.
Short family holiday, and back into action! 🗻🧗♀️ Scaling the heights of Sandringham Road, and the undulating hill(s) of Dimond Road and talking to residents with Southampton Itchen Labour Cllr Darren Paffey and Amanda Barnes-Andrew - [and picking up lots casework as we go 💼]
