Here at Juvenile Arthritis Research, we love creative writing and poetry.
So we were absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as the children's charity that will benefit from the proceeds of The Dirigible Balloon 🎈 Balloon's new anthology of poems due to be released later this year.

“This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall,
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England,”

Good for a chuckle.

During the Peninsular War (1808-1814) Field Marshal Arthur Wellesley, the 1st Duke of Wellington allegedly wrote a letter to the British War Office after he/his staff were consistently pestered by staff officers wanting administrative details.
