Many people here in Australia pick up their methadone from the pharmacy and check in with their general practitioner every ~30 days initially, and afterwards ~90 days or so.

We want to get more people into substance use treatment. @sf_dph is working with Matt Haney on legislation that will lower barriers for treatment and improve access to methadone.
