#5albums21cFinal This is one of my favourite ever albums. I love how an album so utterly drenched in melancholy could prove to be so popular. It's over an hour long, and every minute is packed with cinematic songs of love, loss & total despair.
#5albums21cFinal Its release surprised & delighted all Silver Jews fans. The joy was tragically brief. I couldn't listen to it for years after his death. I've played it a lot in the last year or so, & it is a fitting end to an illustrious career. Beautiful, dark & deeply moving.

Currently listening to Editors, 2 great albums have made the list but this will always be their best (in my mind)
Another 2 great albums fighting for a position in my #5albums21cFinal line up, as with Radiohead yesterday, one is hitting the spot a touch more than than the other today .,
#5albums21cFinal - how can I choose between these two or do I just surrender & pick them both?

Number 7
It took me a while to get into this album because I'm one of those people who prefer the old Bad Seeds. But artists change and so does the music and when the penny dropped for me with this then his current musical journey made so much sense.
