Yesterday we held a series of protests outside Victorian Labor MP Offices.
There is so much support to #BanDuckShooting

At Steve Dimopoulos MP office, we had people telling us this Jacinta Allan captain's call will change their vote.

Lake Bookar, north of Camperdown, will be closed to duck shooters from Saturday, 20 May 2023.
This is to protect a significant number of threatened Hardhead ducks in the area.
This closure will protect all native birds at Lake Bookar from duck shooters.

This magnificent waterbird is the Australasian Shoveller or Blue winged Shoveller. Its status is THREATENED.
Thanks to Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan, at least 4 of this fragile species were killed on the opening weekend of the Victorian #DuckShooting season.
