Did you know? Cutiefly & Ribombee are inspired by Bombyliidae which are “Japanese Bee Flies”. They feed on nectar and pollen, being important pollinators. EVERYTHING IS CUTER IN JAPAN!!!! 😍🐝💕🌸

Hunchback Bee Fly (Bombyliidae)

Captured this incredible moment of a hunchback bee fly.

Bee fly larvae are parasitic, targeting solitary bee or wasp nests. Female bee flies lay eggs near nest entrances, and when they hatch, the larvae parasitize the host's young.

Olha que gracinha essas moscas felpudinhas. Elas têm um 'biquinho' para se alimentar nas flores, por isso ajudam na polinização. São da família Bombyliidae. 😊
