Oak leaf blister caused by the fungus, Taphrina caerulescens, infects emerging leaves at budbreak. Symptoms of leaf puckering, bulges and distortion are seen now, but it’s too late to protect leaves. Expanded leaves will not be infected. All oaks are susceptible. UGA Extension
