Six 🇭🇷 students participated in this year's #ConSIMium , an #EUcouncil simulation experience for youth from all over 🇪🇺 They gained insight into the work of the Working Groups, #COREPER and the Council by negotiating files on #artificialintelligence & #cybersecurity . Well done!👏
Historic indeed. Endless Coreper and JHA Council meetings devoted to finding compromise on all ten legislative files of #Migration and #Asylum Pact during last several years. 🇱🇹 #Lithuania strongly contributed to Crisis regulation, tackling #instrumentalisation of migration issue.
Summary of my time at Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2024 : for coreper II : We held 57 trilogue sessions in 3 months. 27 in the EP PressService in Strasbourg, 15 in Brussels, 13 at EU Council Press and 2 in Berlaymont. Resulting in 29 agreed files and 2 non-agreed. First trilogue held on 10/1 the last 9/4
After COREPER's approval INTA Committee Press convincingly voted in favour of extension of EU trade liberalisation for 🇺🇦.

After COREPER approved the final compromise text yesterday, AFET Committee Press and EU Budget adopted the Reform and Growth Facility for the Western Balkans today.
Special thanks to the entire AFET EPP team, especially to shadow rapporteur Željana Zovko, for their hard work.
It will take place on 8-9 April, 2024 in Brussels and students will have the opportunity to simulate a sequence of meetings including European Council, two parallel working parties as well as COREPER and Council.
