Not a deep space object, this is the #SpaceX#CRS29 nebula: The dot of light in the center-ish is the 2nd stage, pushing the Cargo Dragon to space, & near the top of the cloud is the Falcon 9 booster orienting itself for the trip back to Cape Canaveral.
Incredible out of this world view last night after 1st stage separation & boost back burn with 2nd stage ignition heading down range! #SpaceX#NASA#CRS29#Nebula#Elonmusk#ISS 11-9-23

“Exploration is in our nature. We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still. We have lingered long enough on the shores of the cosmic ocean. We are ready at last to set sail for the stars.”

Tonight was my 200th launch and the best one I’ve seen in a long time. We got a little jellyfish, boost back, entry and landing burns. Plus a light breeze was blowing towards us so the sonic booms were really good. CRS29 on a SpaceX Falcon 9.
