Cooks in WCK’s field kitchens in Rafah and Deir al-Balah prepared stewed beans and rice for Palestinians sheltering in camps across southern and central Gaza. At the same time, more than 50 of our aid trucks have arrived to resupply our network of kitchens.

WCK’s team in southern Gaza held a memorial for our seven colleagues killed by the IDF one month ago. The service honored our team members and all humanitarians that have been killed in Gaza while supporting Palestinians families impacted by senseless war.

WCK’s woman-led bakeries resumed work alongside our Gaza kitchens. We use traditional clay ovens & innovative griddles fueled by wood pellets to cook thousands of breads daily. The freshly-baked bread accompanies the nourishing meals we serve displaced Palestinians. #ChefsForGaza
Evacuation orders in Rafah have forced several WCK-supported community kitchens to pause cooking today. Still, our field kitchens and community kitchens outside evacuation zones provided more than 168,000 meals in communities around Rafah and Deir al-Balah.
