“I needed to hold this sign outside the court and that's proved to be quite controversial. I have somehow upset the judicial system in quite a major way.” - Trudi Warner

The moment we’ve all been waiting for. Trudi Warner exits the Royal Court of Justice with her head held high - she is innocent of any wrongdoing.

“Her placard simply summarised the principle of jury equity. Her conduct was consistent with information sharing.“ - Mr Justice Saini

We’ve had an incredible week of action, with over 80 locations visited to remind the public of their rights in law, every crown court in England & Wales, and had numerous important messages of support.

I literally upheld the law outside Lincoln Crown Court today.
Juries must be allowed to hear the truth, THE WHOLE TRUTH, and nothing but the truth.

Tim Crossland from Plan B Earth explains why this case does not stand alone, and how judges have misrepresented Trudi’s (and others’) act, resulting in the convictions of people who otherwise might have been acquitted.

This must mean grounds for appeal against those convictions.

The case of Trudi Warner doesn’t end the need to defend jury trials.

The rights of jurors and defendants are being removed in order to obtain convictions.

Threatening jurors or defendants with contempt for not following bad (even illegal) directions from a judge is unjust.

To all those who risked the same ordeal Trudi has gone through over the past year, well done. You are really helping to

The attack on jury trials is not over. There are still some courts refusing defendants their right to tell the WHOLE truth.

But today, a win.

Juries have the right to decide cases according to their consciences. But our Government, our MP here in Wimborne Rt Hon Michael Tomlinson MP, and our courts want to overturn that right
