The UN #CRDP24 report has recognised that we are barely surviving under this government, not living full lives. We are subject to complex and punitive benefit systems that see us as ‘undeserving’. We are kept in poverty.

We heard this rhetoric when Rishi Sunak gave his speech about welfare reform & sick-note culture. He said it was a 'moral mission' but the UN committee had a different view describing the reforms as devaluing disabled people & undermining human dignity.
