'I am directly and imminently affected.'

We were joined in parliament by many different people, from those who want some control at the end of their own lives, to those who have accompanied a loved one to Dignitas.

MPs need to listen to these voices.

“Choice is really important. Everybody’s choice.”

MPs need to listen to these voices and put themselves in the shoes of those who are directly affected by our lack of an assisted dying law.

The current law is failing our dying citizens. Only Westminster can put this right.

An incredibly powerful letter from Irish campaigner Bert, whose wife took her own life rather than suffer a painful death from cancer.

The blanket ban on assisted dying forced her to take the law into her own hands.

People should not be put in this agonising position.

James' mum spent her life savings, and in agonising pain, travelled alone to Dignitas to protect her family from the risk of prosecution.

She did all of this simply to have a dignified end to her life.

This must change.
