The last thing is equally frustrating. Pure ... BUT THEN
'we've also learned a lot about covid, that it isn't tactile surfaces that cause transmittal, it's different'

MY MAN, WHAT'S THE 'DIFFERENT' PART? That it's airborne? Why didn't you say that?

So the dishwashing protocols in this LTC are sanitary enough for a tough bacteria like E.Coli, but for an influenza outbreak we must have styrofoam plates, paper cups and plastic utensils.

Same as for a non-enveloped coronavirus.

🤷‍♂️

BC's PHO updates the order on workplaces and post-secondary because they wanted to add masking, but just couldn't help adding this gem? 🤦‍♂️

If your province was still stuck on and was using outdated information to try to fight the pandemic, and information came out strongly from a trusted ally that differed significantly from your approach, wouldn’t it be a BIG DEAL for your CMOH and DoH?

As for BC's Health Minister Adrian Dix - what's he up to today?

Hard to believe David Eby let you keep that job.

Nice performative fist bump to reinforce BC's flawed
But then you shake hands too.
That's OK, fomites don't matter.

No, it’s not harder to justify. Just the opposite. All the viruses were dealing with can be mitigated by wearing masks to prevent transmission.

If you talk to the crowd, you will get the same answer.

Masks do work, and we need them to protect our health system.

Not just Mandy K. Cohen, MD, MPH / CDC that has this wrong.

Canada has recognized airborne transmission federally, but provincially (where health care is delivered and public health recommendations are made), it is still all the way…
