Supporting my darling daughter Isla (and thousands of others) who suffer with eating disorders on the #DumpTheScales march in central London. So proud of all of those battling and winning. So full of sorrow and upset for those families of loved ones who lose their battle.

Yesterday I attended Hope Virgo’s #DumpTheScales march. I invite @VictoraAtkins Duncan Baker MP Jane Hunt MP & MPs across all parties & constituencies to raise this in parliament. For the #1in5 who don’t survive.

No one should be denied treatment for an eating disorder.
Completely overwhelmed and so so grateful to every single person who has supported the #dumpthescales campaign, and to all those who came today to join the march. It was such a powerful and emotional day and I have a lot of brain processing to do

There was barely a dry eye in the crowd as we listened to a father talk about the loss of his daughter to her eating disorder, and watched parents hug their children in a moment of shared grief.

I was discharged and given up by a nhs ed service when I was at my worst.
I was told I exhausted all options.
here I am, 5 years later! I’m not only surviving but living and thriving.
recovery is possible so please never say ‘no’ but help!!!
