Hello Everyone with prediabetes a.k.a. HbA1c above 5.5. Follow the FODMAP diet for the next 3 months & check your HBA1C again. We have to stop wheat totally. Do not replace it with millets. You can have rice about 100gms. You can eat till full if you eliminate all food under red.

shopping for food on a Low FODMAP diet is incredibly hard, like you have no idea how hard it is if you've never tried to do it. like what if veganism but it had no straightforward rules at all also no one knew what it was. there are no low FODMAP restaurants!

i had an nhs dietician appt today (they were lovely) but i love how it went from FODMAP IS GOOD LETS DO FODMAP to “wait.. you ate one meal a day for over a year? yeah we’re not doing fodmap yet” within minutes

Although peanuts are part of the low FODMAP group

I’d still recommend avoiding peanuts.

There’s No need to eat them,

unless you’re bulking & have a hard time getting in calories.

Even then, there are way better options.

My recommendation for fat sources:

- full-fat dairy…
