£200 fine & 6 penalty points?

That’s what you’ll get if you’re caught using your phone at the wheel.

It’s your call

The ones that got away.
I saw these three phone fiddlers drivers the same day that I saw six others, all within the space of 35 minutes. The other six I reported for phone use, but the evidence for this three I felt was not good enough for the Police to proceed.

FATAL FAILS: Good morning South Yorkshire. Please help us to spread the word on why wearing a seat belt matters. 17-29-year-olds are dying on our roads because they are failing to 'click'. This has to stop. SYP Ops Support

Drivers who use a mobile phone while driving are slower at recognising and reacting to hazards, less aware of what’s happening around them, fail to see road signs and often fail to maintain proper lane position and steady speed
