A new expedition to the #FramStrait is about to start. We want to know more about the fresh water export from the #ArcticOcean to the #Atlantic . Our group Ariadine Varreira will contribute by looking into novel #oceantracers I-129 and U-236 D-USYS@ETH European Research Council (ERC)
Our #seaice forecast visualisations include maps of estimated #Arctic #GreenlandSea and #FramStrait concentration, thickness, and drift at 24-hr intervals, we also produce animations for the whole forecast period. Here’s the forecast for U.S. Naval Research Laboratory GOFS3.1 for the next 6 days.

At 78° N, 3° W ➡️ the #FramstraitNPI cruise retrieved the first out of seven moorings in the #FramStrait .
