PI of The AutoNorms Project, dr ingvild bode made a statement at the second session of 2022 #CCWUN #GGELAWS . In addition to good practices, we need to 'identify problematic practices that warrant regulation of the uses of autonomy in weapon systems'.
At #GGELAWS , Switzerland 🇨🇭 is pushing for an instrument to prevent #AutonomousWeapons that could NOT be used in conformity with #InternationalLaw . Setting sufficient human control for all other systems is central in light of risks and ethical concerns.
