November 15 is the Day of the #ImprisonedWriter . PEN International, a worldwide association of writers, highlights 4 journalists who have been imprisoned in regions from Crimea to Tibet, urging their release.
A message on the Day of the #ImprisonedWriter from Kurdish poet, playwright, essayist Ilhan Sami Çomak:
'This will be my last day as an imprisoned writer. Prisons are no place for writers. Please let's not forget them. Let's keep the solidarity effort constant.'
