Memorial plaque unveiled for National Army Pte. Patrick Lynch at Hill cemetery last Saturday. Pte. Lynch was wounded at an IRA ambush on 7 Jan. 1923 & later died in the Military Hospital. He was a Lieut. in the pre-Truce IRA, 1918-21.

On 24 May 1923  the  officially ended, with about 200  in the past 12 months. In total over 300 country houses were burnt since the 1919  began.
