The KY House has passed a clean 'Momnibus' bill, a multi-faceted approach to improve maternal/infant health & a product of bipartisan/bicameral work. 'I have never been more delighted, proud or excited to vote for any single piece of legislation,' Rep. Lindsey Burke said.

So Senator Gerald Neal & I are hugging it out at the end of & apparently Steven Rudy did not think we were moving to enroll the final bill with enough alacrity.

I may nominate this for “America’s Funniest Home Videos.” I cannot stop laughing at Leader Rudy’s wild gesticulations.

Care to amend your statement, Rebecca Raymer?

It turns out Big Tobacco does support your bill. It makes sense, as they created the concept of a PMTA registry that uses arbitrary 2016 and 2020 dates to eliminate their competition.

Speaking in support of Governor Andy Beshear's veto of HB 5, controversial criminal-justice legislation, Rep. Rep. Keturah Herron called it the Session's 'most dangerous bill,' in part because of many of its policies but also 'because we do not know how much it is going to cost us.'

It’s a good day for Kentucky families who believe they, not the government, should be able to choose the best learning environment for their children. We’re one step closer to educational freedom for all children!

Only 26% of students in JCPS performed at or above proficiency level in reading in 2022. That’s the same as in 2009. The teacher who sent this to me teaches at a school where only 17% of the students are proficient. This, not literacy, is the focus of PDs in the district.

If you live in KY & believe parents, not the government, should direct the educational path for their children, let your legislators know. This isn’t @ vouchers or charters, it’s @ providing families the freedom to choose the best learning environment for their children.

Imagine living in a state where the super majority in the Legislature starts out the annual session campaigning to remove DEI from schools & then ends it by engraining DEI into the K-12 civics curriculum & continuing to fund DEI in our Colleges & Universities.
